Dr. Kumiko Shirai is an expert on Japanese abdominal diagnosis (Fukushin) and Kampo herbal medicine. She is an instructor at the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM) where she teaches Fukushin applications in the context of the Sanghan Lun and the Jing Gui Yao Lue. Dr.Shirai is an active clinical practitioner at the Acupuncture Associates of Oregon.
